I'm from California my husband is from Louisiana. We live in Iowa now. We drive a couple hours just to eat at this little, great restaurant. You'll feel at home, you'll have to wait just a bit because they're frying up your chicken (fresh). No doubt worth the wait. I feel like when I sit down, it's a bit like being at family's home. Totally love this place. My husband loves it!

I've never had their sweet potato casserole. I'll have to give it a try next time. I can say, everything I've tried at this restaurant has been delicious! I pray they never compromise their ingredients. Love this little place!
